Prenatal Classes

Childbirth. How do you prepare for an event you have never faced?

Now that you are pregnant and feeling baby move. You probably have started getting baby’s room ready. You have chosen the perfect stroller and found the right size crib. This life altering event seems so far away and yet you only have a few months of work and preparation till your little bundle of joy comes home. How will I prepare? Does my body know how to deliver a baby? Will the pain of labor be too overwhelming? Why are my friends and even strangers telling me only scary stories of birth? If breastfeeding is so natural, why have I only heard bad stories. Does my partner know how to change a diaper? Consider taking a prenatal class.

Group prenatal classes provide a safe and comfortable environment where we share our joys, fears, and dreams for birth, breastfeeding and parenting. I guide you through the topics as stated below.

Yliza was very knowledgeable and discussed a wide variety of topics, making us feel comfortable and confident in the options available to us. After taking the class we felt more confident in what to expect throughout the entire labor process as well as when we come home with baby :)! We would highly recommend Yliza’s class!
